DraftKings has announced an expanded collaboration with Kindbridge Behavioral Health to offer therapy and treatment for problem gaming across all jurisdictions where DraftKings operates its online sportsbook and iGaming products.

The extension of this program follows a pilot launch in Colorado in September 2023.

For those who recognise signs of problem gaming and decide to utilise our tools to self-exclude, they now have access to therapy and treatment free of cost through Kindbridge Behavioral Health.”

Following positive feedback from the pilot program in Colorado, DraftKings and Kindbridge have established a system that connects self-excluded players with various support options, including educational content, assessment calls and counselling sessions.

This effort underlines our commitment to combat problem gaming with personalised, accessible support. This collaboration sets a new industry benchmark for comprehensive care, ensuring swift and essential support is accessible to those in need.”

Starting 1 April,Play Casino Online customers in the 25 states where DraftKings operates online sportsbook and iGaming products, as well as Ontario, will have access to mental health assessments, care providers and personalised care plans via Kindbridge upon self-exclusion within the DraftKings platform.

This partnership extension aims to support individuals experiencing potential indications of problem gaming and provide insights into the effectiveness of treatment resources for those who seek assistance via online gaming platforms.

In related news, DraftKings recently announced leadership changes, aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness. Jason Park, who served as CFO, transitioned to the role of Chief Transformation Officer, while Alan Ellingson, once the SVP of Finance and Analytics, now assumes the position of CFO.
